What: a TEDx Pipitea talk
In November 2021 in Wellington people will gather to hear 13 people share their ideas worth spreading.
TED and TEDx are nonprofit organisation devoted to ‘ideas worth spreading’. Started as a four-day conference in California USA in 1984, TED has grown to support those world-changing ideas with multiple initiatives.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organised events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
These local, self-organised events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organised TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organised, subject to certain rules and regulations.

TEDxWellys was scheduled for May 2021 but with the snap rahui/lockin it was a necessary decision to cancel the event.
However the TEDx organising team pivoted and created TEDxPipitea as long time licensee DK retired after 9 years of TEDx.
